Driver Lessons & Assessments
Drivewise Training School was started by Julie Crocker in 2004, after a friend recommended she teach driving. Building up a range of skills and a reputation for personalised service, Julie quickly succeeded in self-employment, and went from 2 cars to 3!
Julie offers lessons and assessments in Nambucca Heads, Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Southwest Rocks and Kempsey. Julie has since brought her partner Rick into the mix – the two of them provide students of all ages with skills they’ll have for the rest of their lives.
With Accreditations in Age Assessment
Disability driver assessment and rehabilitation, Drivewise Training School helps people of all abilities achieve their goals and gain independence.
At Drivewise, we believe in staying up to date with our training. Julie has passed the most up to date instructors’ course, which focuses on defensive driving and low risk driving skills. She regularly attends all RTA workshops to ensure she’s aware of the latest driving rules and teaching techniques.
Disability Modifications
We provide the following disability modifications for those who need it:
- Disability hand controls, including hand accelerator & braking systems
- Electric spinner knob, including an indicator windscreen wiper & lights
- Left foot accelerator for people paralysed by a stroke
